Poplar Tent Road Subdivisions

Meade Gunnell engineering and surveying provided master planning, site development, environmental studies, civil engineering, and construction documentation for Ambassador Development on this property. The site is composed of 280 acres combining three planned single family home residential communities named Fullerton Place, Moorecrest, and Crystal Creek designed around a wetland and wooded area.  MGES also designed a sanitary sewer outfall and water line extensions, as well as receiving FEMA floodplain engineering and (CLOMR-R) approval on the project. We also received approval on our first submittal for erosion and sediment control from NC-DENR.

With over 600 lots for residential use, different phases were incorporated to accomodate the steadily growing area North of Charlotte. Residents will enjoy many amenities such as a separate walking and biking trail as well as the linked pedestrian sidewalks and roads between the subdivisions for flexibility. A community pool is included in the design to ensure cool days in North Carolina’s summer climate. The property is also in close proximity to brand new K-12 schools located just a few minutes away. This site is also a short commute to a major shopping area that includes Concord Mills mall and the Queen city Charlotte.
